Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is Freedom

Jesus came to this earth as the very reflection of the Father. Jesus reveals this fact in the Gospel of John;
Did you catch that, “…from now on you know Him and have seen Him.” He was saying to His disciples that if they had seen Him they had seen the Father. That didn’t sit well with Philip, because He later asks:
Jesus replies to Him so that the point is made even clearer for Philip:
This time it is clear that Jesus came so the world could see the Father when the looked at Jesus. Jesus goes on to answer the real meaning of Philips question of wanting to see the Father and the real question behind Philip inquiry is: “How have we seen the Father when we have seen you??? Jesus answers the How??
Did you see what Jesus said was the thing that provided the world with an accurate portrayal of the Father??? It was His Works!!!!! The Works revealed The Father!!
That is why we must do the works that Jesus did. So the Father can continue to be Glorified in the Son!
There is no doubt in my mind that the way to reflect the Father to the world is to do the works of Jesus and the Greater Works!!!! Yes Greater Works that these!!!!!!
Can you wrap your head around that? I’ll be flat out honest with you, it is really hard to wrap my head around that one. To think that I, Frank Kemberling, could perform the same works that Jesus did in His three yrs of ministry everyday. HOW???
Let’s see; Do we have the same Father? Yes. Do we have the same Spirit? Again, Yes! So, it appears that He has given us everything that He needed to do the works of His Father. Therefore we should be able to do exactly the same and now because He has risen, He said we could even do Greater.
I believe we like the children of Israel have a veil over our spiritual eyes that keep us from seeing the potential, that we all have as believers, inside. The answer I believe is to allow the Spirit of God to lift that veil so we can begin to believe that we can do whatever He did. I believe the Spirit reveals this to us in Paul’s second letter to the Corinthians;
To be that reflection we must work along with the Spirit of the Lord to see our lives transformed into His image. Remember, it wasn’t Jesus’ image that reflected the Father, it was His works. It will not be our image that reflects the Father, it will be our works that have come from our belief that we are being transformed, right now, into His image. It opens our eyes to see as He sees, so we can do what He does. That sounds just like what Jesus said:
I pray: 17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him,
18 the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,
19 and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power
Go use that power today and bring glory to His name!
